With a sound as memorable as their name, BEACHDRUNK has been making waves in Portland's rapidly blooming electronic music scene, captivating crowds with their unique mix of trap, bass and wave. The duo, made up of best friends and brothers-in-law Scott and CJ, have opened for artists like Dr. Fresh, Buku, Yheti, Ivy Lab, Shades, Borgore, Kumarion, LYNY and Eastghost, performing at some of the Portland's biggest clubs and local festivals. Their eclectic discography and live sets blend floor-shaking bass, huge synths with tasty organic instruments like steel drums, flutes and drum lines into a tropical cocktail of bangers and vibes. Since debuting in 2021, BEACHDRUNK has established themself as an artist to watch in 2023.

BEACHDRUNK is an up and coming trap, bass and wave duo in Portland, Oregon.

Since debuting in 2021, BEACHDRUNK has been making waves in the Portland music scene, opening for artists like Dr. Fresh, Buku, Yheti, Ivy Lab, Shades, Borgore, Kumarion, LYNY and Eastghost.

BACKGROUND
Best friends and brother-in-laws Scott and CJ started their separate musical journeys around 2017 under the names Scott Toddy and Colada. During COVID, they both began playing at a number of virtual music festivals that helped spark their love for performing live.

In 2020, they announced their duo project: BEACHDRUNK. Joining forces allowed them to combine their separate strengths in areas like music production, mixing, graphic design, networking, web design, social media and video.

MUSICAL STYLE
Inspired by artists like Juelz, CloZee, Skeler and Ashez, BEACHDRUNK creates a unique sound that blends floor-shaking bass, huge synths and catchy melodies with organic instruments such as steel drums, flutes and energetic drum lines.

Following the success of their wave/trap single, Solstice, they decided to focus on further developing their own take on the wave genre.

LIVE PERFORMANCES
BEACHDRUNK has performed at some of Portland's most popular electronic venues such as 45 East, The North Warehouse and Opaline as well as local festivals like Actualize and Smoke On The Water.

Their live sets seamlessly blend club bangers with vibey anthems, continually bringing in new fans of all musical tastes.

RELEASES
BEACHDRUNK's discography includes a wide range of singles, collabs and remixes with artists like nok nok, Lowkea and As_Is. Their official remix of Cold In California (feat. Calra Jo) was released in December 2023 on the The Gradient Perspective.

They also have released a number of mixes, including a monthly "Out of Office" mix series that feature their unreleased tracks and music from other up and coming artists.

FUTURE PLANS
BEACHDRUNK's main goal is to further cement their place in the rapidly growing Portland electronic music scene. Over the next year, they aim to perform at larger music festivals and release a song on a record label.

Putting their spin on the popular house song, BEACHDRUNK combines elements of wave, bass and trap along with steel drums and other organic instruments to create a truly unique remix.

Producer duo BEACHDRUNK teams up with As_Is for their hard hitting single, “BASS BOYS.” Blending their shared love of bass and trap, the boys showcase their signature styles across three unique drops driven by gritty bass lines, catchy vocals and hypnotic melodies. “BASS BOYS” has been igniting dance floors across the U.S. and is the perfect Summer bass anthem for 2023.
